There are a lot of different services out there that guarantee they can remove Ripoff Report complaints. I need to cover this first, because there seems to be a lot of confusion here. Understand, under no circumstance is Ripoff Report going to remove negative comments and reviews. Ever.

Because they don’t have to. There is a nice little law that protects RipoffReport.com, My3Cents.com, ShamScam.com and other similar sites that are user driven. The law is called The Communications Decency Act, and even though it wasn’t written to protect websites like Ripoff Report, it did exactly that. Allowing these site owners to be treated as 3rd party individuals and not directly responsible for the content contained within the websites they own.
